Rosengård, burn it down or give it some love??
I just had to write a post about this. I bet you all heard about the fires here in Malmö in the Rosengård district. Today it is on the news again, a new fire. Now the politicians wants a curfew in this area of Malmö to prevent new fires. This year over 120 fires are reported in and around the part called Herrgården ( a part of rosengård district) and just in april 70 fires were started in dumpsters and buildings. When firemen and the ambulancepersonnel comes they get exposed to stone-throwing and deaththreats by the young. The unions are calling out for a better law agains this young kids, cause some of them are told to be only 10 years old up to over 20+.
Today it took over 30 minutes for the firedepartment to arive and to start control the fire, this do to the fact that they will not enter Rosengård without police escort, the same goes for ambulancepersonnel and some security companys who are ending their business in Rosengård. Today the fire was in a house. It is just a matter of time before someone gets hurt or dies in this fires and it will not be one of the kids who started them. It will be a innocent person and all blame will be places on the staff of Malmö city who didn´t do more.
What if some elderly or sick needs an ambulance? This can take as today up to 30 minutes which is way to long in some cases. I wonder if this kids have any idea what the consequence of their behavior is. It can be their mother or grandmother who needs medical help some day. And it is their younger siblings who can´t attend school because of the damages on the school. It is all a big evil circle. All the financial resources in this district is going to fighting fires and this is the only image that is sent out, not just because of media but also because this is what the kids are doing. They all blame different things but come on.
They say they can´t get a job because the bad reputation Rosengård has, but this reputation is created by the kids there.
They say they have nothing to do, then they just hang out, do drugs and that crime is the only thing to do, but this is not true, Rosengård is the only district in Malmö that still has recreation centers. Where I live we have a high number of immigrants to, and we have no recreation center of the kind they have but still we don´t burn our houses.
They say they need bigger apartments so their kids can be home more, so they would feel more privacy at home, but hey. We all need more space, but as it is, we have what we have and be greatful for it.
They want to be able to speak better swedish, that the teachers should be sweds. But the bus goes to and FROM Rosengård, they can go anywhere in Malmö they choose. You can play soccer in a different place for exemple, do activites in some other disctrict if you want to be more intouch with the swedish language.
I feel the kids of Rosengård are spoiled in some way. They get very much but still they want more. They feel they are above the law and have rights to do anything they want to. We can´t blame all on culture and religion, it is just a bunch of idiots that happen to be stuck at the same place (Now I mean the kids who burns stuff, NOT all in Rosengård). I read a discussion on facebook last night with the main title "Let Rosengård burn". The people of Malmö is soo tired of this shit that they would rater let the place burn down then care about it. Doesn´t that say it all?? And now we are not just talking about some racist sweds, it is all nations and muslims as well. I can´t feel sorry for them, we have people from their countries all over Malmö and they are getting by just fine. They are hard-working people with a sense of pride. Society can´t give them everything on a plate. They have to work on it themselfs. They will not get jobs this way, they will not get better education or bigger apartments, they only give people more fuel on their prejudices and so the circle goes round and round.
This is just my thoughts.. I know there is lots of good and nice people in Rosengård and it is a shame that a smallgroup of idiots are acting out like they do. Where are the adults?? There is 10 % of all adults in Rosengård who works so 90 % is at home..go out and take care of your kids!! Talk to them and take your responsibility!!
